There is a specific kind of magic that happens in the quiet corners of Fernandina Beach. It’s in the way the salt air carries the scent of blooming vines and the way the golden hour light hits a blank canvas. This is where Soulful Gypsy breathes, and today, I want to invite you behind the curtain to see how the art comes to life.

The Inspiration of June: Awakening the Goddess

As the sun reaches its peak this month, I find myself pulled toward the archetype of the Goddess in Bloom. June isn’t just a change in the calendar; it is a spiritual unfolding. In the studio, I am working with the rose and the honeysuckle not just as plants, but as symbols of our own divine evolution.

The Rose represents the Sovereign Goddess—protected by thorns, yet open and unapologetic in her beauty. She teaches us that our layers are our strength. The Honeysuckle represents the wild, intuitive Goddess—climbing, reaching, and filling the air with a sweetness that cannot be contained.

In every original piece and print I’m creating for this month’s Souful He(art) Mail subscription, I am channeling this transition: the shedding of the "girl I was" to make room for the expansive, powerful "goddess I am becoming." When you hold this art in your hands, I want you to feel that same permission to bloom without reservation.
